The Lemosho Route offers a stunning and less crowded path to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Stretching over 7 to 8 days, it gives climbers ample time to acclimatize, thanks to its gradual ascent. The adventure begins at Lemosho Gate, leading you through lush rainforests and across the vast Shira Plateau, eventually merging with the Machame Route around Lava Tower. From there, you’ll trek through the beautiful Barranco Valley and up to Barafu Camp before tackling the final push to Uhuru Peak. While it’s longer and more demanding, the breathtaking views and higher success rate make it worth the effort.
