The journey begins and ends in Arusha, East Africa’s tourism capital. A day before departure, we will meet you at your lodge/hotel in Arusha for a quick safari briefing.
6:00 AM: Depart from your accommodation in Arusha.
8:00 AM: Arrive at the entrance gate of Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
8:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Explore the diverse habitats of the crater floor, including grasslands, forests, and soda lakes. Keep your eyes peeled for the “Big Five” and other wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, and hyenas.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater. Take in the breathtaking views and listen to the sounds of nature surrounding you.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Continue your game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, focusing on areas where you haven’t explored yet. Visit the Lerai Forest to search for leopards and explore the shores of Lake Magadi, where you might spot flamingos and other water birds.
5:00 PM: Ascend out of the crater and head to your accommodation near or in Tarangire.
6:30 PM: Arrive at your lodge or camp, where you can relax and unwind.
6:30 AM: Have an early breakfast at your accommodation.
7:30 AM: Depart for Tarangire National Park.
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Embark on a morning game drive. Explore the park’s diverse landscapes, including grassy savannas, ancient baobab trees, and the meandering Tarangire River. Keep watch for elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Enjoy a packed lunch at a designated picnic site within the park or a hot lunch with a cooling swim. Take this time to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Continue your game drive in Tarangire National Park, focusing on areas known for high wildlife concentrations such as Silale Swamp and the Tarangire River. Keep your camera ready for memorable wildlife sightings and stunning landscapes.
5:00 PM: Exit Tarangire National Park and begin your journey back to Arusha.
7:00 PM: Arrive back at your accommodation, end of tour.
